Lorraine M. Hrubos (nee Sefcik), age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2017.

Lorraine is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Jane (William) Worek. She was the proud grandmother of two boys, Christopher and Michael Worek; aunt and guardian to Anthony Panella; dear sister-in-law to Isabel (George) Sefcik-Voitik. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph A. Hrubos (2016); parents, Anthony and Mary (nee Krall) Sefcik; brother, Lawrence Sefcik; sister, Nancy (Frank) Panella.

Lorraine was a lifelong resident of Joliet and an active parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. She was a longtime member of the Rosarians, Slovenian Union of America, K.S.K.J. and the Will County Seniors. Lorraine retired from First Midwest Bank in Joliet as a bank teller after over 25 years of service. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed attending their sporting events in youth and watching them grow and succeed in their adult lives. She was known for her excellent baking skills and enjoyed traveling with her family to Northern Wisconsin. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
