Joan S. Nichols

Joan S. Nichols (nee Skole), Age 80, entered eternal life on Saturday, June 28, 2014 with her loving family by her side.
Joan is survived her husband of 61 years, John J. Nichols; loving children, Roann Nichols, Roxann (Paul) Fox, and Thomas J. Nichols; cherished grandchildren, Michael J. and Katharine A. Prebil, Nicholas P. and Paige Fox; beloved sister, Dorie Starcevich; nephew, Michael Starcevich; as well as numerous other beloved nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Roman V. and Anna (nee Titra) Skole; brother John R. Skole; and sister-in-law, Jean Skole.
Private services will be held for Joan at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Joliet. Per Joan's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation or services held at the funeral home.
