Armando “Nano” Hernandez
Age 12 of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Alden Village Health for Children in Bloomindale with his family by his side.
Born March 16, 2007 in Joliet, Nano was a very joyful baby. He was always smiling at people and making sure that everybody was aware of his presence. He attended Dujardin School and was in the sixth grade. Nano’s teachers loved him and enjoyed working with him. He enjoyed working in groups and loved music class. Music brought the biggest smiles to Nano’s face when he heard music playing. At home he enjoyed watching cartoons and playing with his friends. He was the most loving, caring, full of life little boy who brightened the room wherever he went. Nano has left numerous memories with countless individuals including his doctors, nurses and most of all, his family. His number one love was his Mami, who he would light up for and give his unforgettable smile to.
Nano is survived by his Mami, Tatiana Hernandez; grandparents: Maria and Joaquin Hernandez; siblings: Allani, Jayden and Adalyn Hernandez; uncles: Alfonso, Jesus and David Hernandez; cousins: Mason, Brianna, Biyonka, Gianni, Gavin and Mia Hernandez, and aunts: Pricila Hernandez and Mirna Serrano.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service, 7:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet.
Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
