Alan L. Carrescia of Joliet, age 68, passed away at Spring Creek Nursing Home, after an extended illness, on October 10, 2025. He was born to his father Michael Carrescia and his mother Mildred B. Carrescia (née Brown) in Joliet, IL on May 13, 1957.
He was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Mildred, and his brother Michael Carrescia Jr.
He is survived by his fiancée Mary Ann Baran.
A special note of gratitude is offered to The Joliet Terrace, Spring Creek Nursing Home, Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care, Lakeforest Casket Company, Knauer Industries, Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life, Anunciation of the Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Church, and Father Tom Loya for their kindness and generosity in helping to provide for Alan during the final stages of his life and throughout the process of bringing him to his final resting place.
After a private visitation at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life, Alan will be interred with a graveside Committal Service at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 18000 Rosalind St, Lockport, IL 60441 on Friday, October 17, 2025.
