Age 83. At rest Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center.
Survived by her sons, Kenneth (Vivian) and James (Mary) Stogis; grandchildren, John, Jeffrey, Michael, Kevin and Amy; brothers, Ray (Helen), Michael (Lonnie) and Richard Kezele; sister, Marge (late Matt) Gonda; brother-in-law, Joe Wrona; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene A. Stogis; sisters, Mary (late Ray) Biernat, Delores Wrona, Virginia and Helen Kezele; and a brother, Walter Kezele.
Amelia was born on September 18, 1923 in Lockport, IL and resided in Joliet most of her lifetime. She worked for many years as a Nurses Aide at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home. Amelia was a member of Cantigny Post Ladies Auxiliary #367 and loved to garden and travel.

From where services will be held Friday, January 26 at 9:30 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church at 10 am. Interment at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 3-9 pm.
