Angela L. Martincic

Angela L. Martincic, age 93, died Monday, June 6, 2011 at Deerbrook Care Center, Joliet. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins of the Talaga, Voitik, Kula, Pirc, and Martincich families.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Josephine (nee Pirc) Martincic, her 4 sisters, Josephine (late Louis) Talaga, Betty (late Leo) Voitik, Matilda Martincic and Mary (late Steve) Kula, and her brothers Dale (late Marian) Martincich and Louis Martincic, Jr. Born in Joliet, Angela was a lifelong resident. She taught school in the Joliet area for the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate for 35 years. She was known as Sister Laetare and taught at St. Joseph, St. Francis Academy, and St. Mary, Plainfield.
Memorial donations to Joliet Area Community Hospice or St. Joseph Church would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
A Celebration of Angela"s Life will be held on Saturday, June 11 with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Joliet at 10 AM, followed by burial in the church cemetery. Angela will lie-in-state at church from 9 am until time of Mass. There will be NO SERVICES AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
