Barbara R. (Knowles) Brader

Barbara R. Brader (nee Knowles), age 83, at rest on Saturday, December 18, 2021.

Barbara is survived by her loving daughter, Dianne (Bob) Davis; grandson, Bobby Davis Jr.; granddaughters, Kristi (Del) Davis-Hollingsworth and Jennifer (Joel) Davis-Fisher; great-grandchildren, Breanna Davis, Aiden and Avery Hollingsworth, Joshua, Jillian, Jacqueline and Jacob Fisher; one niece and two nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Rose (nee Saye) Knowles; children, Darlene and Richard Brader; twin brothers, Donald and Ronald Knowles.

Barbara retired from the Will County Jail as head cook for over 30 years. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she adored them very much. She enjoyed socializing with her friends and going out to eat. Barbara will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Per Barbara’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be planned in the future.
