Barbara Veronica Machias

Barbara Veronica Machias, age 84, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017.
Barbara is survived by her children, John, Stephen and Mark Slobodnik; grandchildren, Nicole, Tony, Ryan and Emily Slobodnik; great-grandson, Andres Perry; and sister-in-law, Coral (the late John) Machias.
Preceded in death by her husband, Edward McElroy; parents, John and Edith Machias; and brother, John Machias.
Barbara retired from JULIE Inc. as a computer operator after over 15 years of service. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to nurses, Ruth, Maria, Shane, Michael, Tara and Latisha in the ICU at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center.
Services for Barbara will be held privately. Cremation rites will be accorded. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Joliet.
