Age 66, at rest December 15, 2008.
Loving mother of Daniel M. Jr. and Joseph J. Potochnic; dearest grandmother of Morgan and Ryan Potochnic; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jason and Agnes (nee Liker) Failing; one brother, Jason Jr. Failing.
Barbara was a lifelong Lockport and Joliet resident, currently employed for the Joliet Public School District at Dirksen Jr. High.
She was a member of Slovenian Womens Union, St. Francis Society KSKJ #29, Joliet Moose #300, Rialto Theatre volunteer and Town & Country Monday night women's bowling league.
Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 19, 2008 at 9:30 am then to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10 am, Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL.
Visitation will be Thursday, from 2 to 8 pm.
