Age 86. At rest Sunday January 15, 2012 at Emeritus Senior Living in Joliet with his family by his side.
Survived by his loving children; Susan (Robert) Mateja, Bernard A�??NickA�?i�� (Roberta), Margaret (Michael) Thompson, George (Stella) Kreiner, Deborah (William) Borghoff, and Paul (Zoeie) Kreiner; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen M. (nee Uttich) Kreiner, and a grandson, Kevin Mateja.
Bernie was born in Chicago and has lived in the Chicagoland area for most of his life. He retired from AT&T in 1980 after over 30 years.
Funeral services for Bernard N. Kreiner Sr. will be Thursday January 19, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Ambrose Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment to Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. Visitation will be Wednesday 3-9 p.m.
