At rest on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at home, with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Survived by her loving brother, John (Chery) Wieremann; one sister-in-law, Rita M. Luzbetak; nephews and nieces, Angela, Joseph and Nicole Wieremann and Robert (Stephanie) and John Luzbetak; great-niece Brittney Luzbetak and great-nephew Anthony Luzbetak. Also survived by numerous cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents John and Loretta C. (nee Zupancic) Wieremann and husband Anthony 'Lenny' Venturo.
Betty was born in Joliet and a life-long resident. She was a retired third grade teacher from A.O. Marshall School and member of the Bell Tower Club.
From where services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 9:30 to St. Jude Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 27 from 4-8pm.
