Carlos Jenkins

Carlos Lydell Jenkins, age 57, entered into eternal life on September 4, 2026 in Joliet, Illinois. He was born in Chicago, IL on April 21, 1969.

Carlos was a graduate of Joliet West High School and went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from the University of Illinois. Carlos was an avid White Sox fan and loved playing video games. He spent most of his career in the Food and Beverage Service Industry, and most recently worked on the Management team at Moe Joe’s in Plainfield, IL.

Carlos will be tremendously missed by all of his family members, but especially so by his mother and step-father James and Asizlee Cartwright (née Jenkins). He will also be missed by his family at Moe Joe’s and many other extended family members, friends, colleagues, and loved ones.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon, with a Chapel Funeral Service at 11:00 am, at Tezak’s Home to Celebrate Life, 1211 Plainfield Rd. Joliet, IL 60435. Following the Funeral Service, guests will be traveling in procession to the Elmhurst Cemetery Chapel, 1212 E. Washington St, Joliet, IL for a Committal Service, after which Carlos will be laid to rest.
