Carol L Asa

Carol L. Asa, 65, was called home to heaven on April 4, 2023.

Carol was born May 10, 1957 in Joliet, IL to Joseph and Doris Kure. She attended school at Lockport Township High School. After schooling, Carol pursued nursing and had a passion to help others. Carol worked at various places as a LNP until she was no longer able to do so and she loved to be surrounded by family and friends and make memories to last a lifetime.

She is survived by her beloved husband Gene Asa; her dearest son Corey Asa (Sarah); her sweet grandson Jameson; her furbaby Thunder and a brother Darryl.

Preceded in death by her beautiful daughter Jody; parents: Joseph and Doris and her brother Dennis.

For those who knew Carol, they knew how big her heart was. She was so selfless and always wanted to help others. The love she had for her loved ones was unmeasurable and we will forever miss the light Carol brought to our lives.

A memorial visitation celebrating Carol’s life will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet,IL. Per Carol’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
