Caroline A�??CookieA�?i�� Michaelson, age 77, of Crest Hill, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away suddenly March 22, 2012. Survived by her daughter MaryAnne Clark and son Jamie Clark; granddaughter Stacy Frana; former spouse Sheldon Michaelson; sister Rosemary Pecaro and brother Joseph Bilka; Nephews and nieces Joseph Bilka, Jr., Nancy OA�??Hara, Michael Bilka, Julie Bilka and Tony Pecaro; she is also survived by many close friends and extended family members.

Preceded in death by her loving parents Joseph and Anna Bilka; her sister Marge OA�??Hara; niece Grace Bilka and her childrenA�??s father James Francis Clark.

Cookie grew up in Chicago and worked as a human resources director for many years. Because of her love for horses, Cookie had a career as a mutual clerk at the OTB in Mokena for the past 20+ years. Cookie was an avid traveler, exploring extensively in Europe and in the U.S. She was a member of the Depression Era Glass Club and also the Slovenian WomenA�??s Union.

A Celebration of CookieA�??s life will begin on Thursday, March 29th at 12:00 noon with a funeral service at the funeral home chapel. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery, Crest Hill. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 am until the time of funeral service at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
