Catherine A Kovach
March 11, 1916 — November 19, 2010
Catherine A. Kovach (nee Spanich) age 94, died peacefully on November 19, 2010 in Joliet. She was born in Joliet and was a lifelong resident.
She is survived by her sister, Mary (late Robert) Meyer; her nieces, Marty Jo (David) McGinnis, Carol (Ronald) Terlep, and Mary Kay Bronny; her nephews, Benedict (Patricia) Midlock, and John (Cheryl) Spanich; and one sister-in-law, Josephine (late Martin ""Hooksey"") Spanich. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. Kovach; her parents, Stephen and Matilda (nee Sakulich) Spanich, her brother, Martin and her sister Rose (late Benedict) Midlock.
A Celebration of Catherine"s Life will be held on Wednesday, November 24 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at St. Mary Nativity Church, Joliet. Interment at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 9:00 AM until prayers at 10:30 AM.
