Cindy R. Himes
Age 68 of Minooka, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet with her family by her side.
Cindy was a devoted and loving wife to her husband Mark. The many years that she suffered from Lupus, Mark was always at her side. Cindy was a quiet, loving and strong woman who will be deeply missed by all of her family.
She is survived by her husband of 49 and ½ years: Mark Himes; son: Daniel (Rebecca) Himes; four grandchildren: Emily, Andrew, Nicholas and Adam Himes; siblings, Jessica (Dave) Nolen, Frank (Lisa) Lopez, Rick (Terri) Lopez, Linda Purkart and Anita Platt Watson; numerous nieces and nephews.
Cindy is preceded in death by her brother: Michael Costos; mother: Gladys Costos, and step-father: Nicholas Costos.
Per Cindy’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
