Daniel A. Mathes, Age 65, entered eternal life on Wednesday, Febraury 5, 2014.
Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia D. Mathes; loving children, Daniel Mathes, Stephen (Vickie) Vining, Melissa Vining, Suzanne Booher, and Christopher (Tonya) Vining; cherished mother, Angeline Mathes; and brother, Michael Mathes; also survived by numerous other relatives and close friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Everett Mathes.
Daniel was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed by Graybar Electric for 13 years. He truly enjoyed working at Graybar and formed many cherished friendships during this time.
A celebration of Daniel's life will begin on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL then driving in procession to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at S.S. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery in Joliet.
