Age 53, at rest Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Silver Cross Hospital.
Survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Marilyn (nee Kunke) Hritz; loving father of Eric (Amanda) and Aaron Hritz; one sister, Joanne Oddo; three brothers, Richard, Robert (Jacqueline) and Jerry Hritz; dearest grandpa of Elizabeth Hope; dear mother, Dorothy A. (nee Zak) (late John R.) Hritz; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his father, John R. Hritz; and nephew, Christopher.
David was born in Joliet and a life long resident, he was employed by the Joliet Park District.
Chapel services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 10:00am. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 6:00pm.
