Dolores A. Przybyl

Dolores Arlene Przybyl, 89, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025. She was born January 4, 1936, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Ross and Betty McReaken.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Lawrence Stanley Przybyl, and her son, James Lawrence Przybyl.

Dolores was a member of the Catholic Church, a part-time Call Center Customer Service Representative at a Food Service Supply Company, and a homemaker. Dolores was a Girl Scout Leader, volunteered for the Boy Scouts and Home Room mother for both of her children throughout their grade school years. Dolores and Larry loved to travel with their children, just the two of them as well as with friends. They spent winter months in Florida and their children and grandchildren would visit them there. Dolores especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends and did so as often as she could.

Dolores lost her husband Lawrence Stanley Przybyl October 2, 2021 and her son James Lawrence Przybyl July 14, 2022. Dolores spent a year succeeding her husband's passing at their home in Plainfield, IL and later at The Timbers of Shorewood where she made numerous friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter, Nancy Soucek, son-in-law Lou Soucek, grandchildren; Jared Soucek, Christen Neuman, Alyssa Kownacki; and great-grandchildren Ashlyn Anderson and Henry Kownacki. She is also survived by cousins and friends and will be dearly missed.

In line with Dolores' wishes, cremation rites were accorded and inurnment took place in a private service at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Rd., Elwood, IL where Dolores' remains were reunited with her husband Lawrence' and the two will reside together in the columbarium for the rest of time.
