Dolores A. (Valek) Regganie

Dolores A. Regganie (nee Valek) age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 12, 2021.
Dolores is survived by her son, Brian (Bernadette) Regganie; grandchildren, Kate and Tom Regganie, Nicholas Houser and Melissa (Warren) Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Noah and Emma Lindsey and Alex and Gianna Houser; son-in-law, Gary (the late Sandy) Houser; and one brother, Tony Valek.
Preceded in death by her husband, Richard Regganie (2007); daughter, Sandy Houser (2020); siblings, Lillian Juricic and Joan Little; and her parents, Anthony and Ann Valek.
Dolores was a wonderful, caring mother who took an active part in her grandchildren’s lives. She will be truly missed.
A celebration of Dolores’ life will begin on Thursday, July 15, 2021 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 8:30 a.m. until prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. then driving in procession to the Cathedral of St. Raymond for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
