Donald E. Onderisin
April 28, 1948 — January 2, 2015
Donald E. Onderisin, age 66, passed peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2015 at Heartland Regional Hospital in Marion, IL following a brief illness.
Donald is survived by one sister, Audrey Onderisin; sister-in-law, Loretta (the late Fred) Onderisin; five step-brothers and sisters, Don (Ginny) Krall, Mike (LouAnn) Krall, Patty (Gus Gaston) Hoffman, Stephanie Krall and Mary Lee Krall; nephews, Samuel E. Onderisin, James (Sherry) Pavnica; nieces, Elaine (Joseph) Shankland and Shalimar (David) Attaway; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and family members.
Preceded in death by parents, Michael and Rose (nee Wisniewski) Onderisin; step-mother, Edna Onderisin (nee Krall); brothers, Fred and Michael Onderisin; sister, Karen (Raymond) Pavnica; and step-sister, Janet Houdak.
Donald was born in Joliet where he resided until his retirement to Johnston City, IL. He was a Vietnam veteran and retired carpenter of Local #174. Donald was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He will be missed by family and friends.

A Celebration of Donald's life will begin on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435, then driving in procession to Woodlawn Memorial Park for a funeral service in the chapel beginning at 11:30 a.m.
