Donald R. Slowinski
Age 63, died Friday, May 13, 2011 at Hines Veteran"s Hospital.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Rosemary (nee Hunssinger), sons Christopher (Tyler), Dennis, Donald, and Timothy (Elizabeth) Slowinski, grandchildren Kaylee, Landon, Benjamin, and Annabelle Rose Slowinski, sister and brothers George (Karen) Slowinski, James Slowinski, Patricia (James) Tabor, and Walter Rudolph. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Don was preceded by his parents Dolores and Stanley Slowinski.
He was a US Army Viet Nam War veteran. A Lifetime member of Oak Lawn VFW Post #5220, Don enjoyed involvement in recent years at Stone City Post VFW #2199.
A Celebration of Don"s Life will be held on Wednesday, May 18 at NOON in the funeral home chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. Visitation on Tuesday, May 17 from 2 ""A�?? 8 PM.
