January 27, 1927 — June 8, 2013
Donald C. Trautner, age 86, of Joliet, at rest on Saturday, June 8, 2013. Survived by his loving wife, Frances Trautner nee Gutnik; his sons, Ronald Trautner and Chuck Trautner; brother, Robert (Carol) Blagg; nephew, Brad (Janelle York) Gutnik of Crestview, FL; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rubbina (nee Bryce) Trautner; step-father, Grant Blagg; sister, Edith (Stephen) Gerencir.
Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater during WWII. He was retired from the Will County Carpenters Local 174.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in DonaldA�??s name to St. Joseph Church, Rockdale.
A Celebration of DonaldA�??s life will begin on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 9:20 am with prayers in the funeral home chapel, then moving in procession to St. Joseph Church, Rockdale for a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet.
