Dorothy Bernidine Pauson

Dorothy Bernidine Pauson, 97, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 in Joliet,IL.

Loving mother to Lisa (James Jr.) Padilla and Jana (Kenneth) Chudwin, she was a proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was an unselfish loving person who with her inner strength and caregiving heart will be missed greatly.

Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Pauson, children: Layton “Skip”, Rachelle (Ron +) Gary (Terry), parents, Richard and Ermiel Johnson as well as her brothers: Louis (Irene +) and Richard Johnson.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet with the funeral procession departing shortly after for a chapel service at Woodlawn Memorial Park chapel where Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her husband.
