Dr. Antonia (Rozman) Mlinar

Dr. Antonia Rozman Mlinar, aged 97, residing in Joliet, IL.  Oldest of 5 children born to Anton and Helena (Žvab) Rozman.  Survived by her brother, Bernard (Marinka, +2018) Rozman and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, 3 brothers, Lovro (Ivanka), Ivan (Georgiann) and Peter.

She was a proud member of the Sisters of St Joseph, Baden, PA until 1972 and a retired Doctor of Pharmacy.  For many years she assisted with the “bookwork” and correspondence for Ave Maria Press and the Lemont Franciscans as well as putting in many hours to establish the Slovenska Pesem (now a part of the Slovenian Catholic Center) Library.

She spent the last 3 years living with her brother, reading and enjoying having her grand- nephews & niece around her.

Per her wishes, cremation rights have been accorded and a memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Slovenian Catholic Mission, 14246 Main St, Lemont, IL 60439 at 11:00 a.m.

Burial of her cremated remains in the family plot at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Joliet, to be held at a later date.

Donations to the Baraga Association or the Franciscan Fathers of Lemont, IL can be offered in her memory.
