Edward J. Kolenc, age 93, entered eternal life on Wednesday, December 7, 2016.
Edward was a favorite uncle, great-uncle and great-great uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Frances (nee Vidic) Kolenc; three sisters, Mary (Eugene) Vercellotti, Frances (Henry) Hubert and Ann (Michael) Zelinski; and two brothers, John (Pauline) Kolenc and Frank Kolenc.
Edward was born and raised in Joliet. He was a proud United States Military Veteran. Edward was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. He was an avid fisherman and also loved to garden. He will be truly missed.
A celebration of Edward’s life will begin on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 with a visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 416 N Chicago St, Joliet, IL 60432 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet.
There will be no funeral home visitation or services.
