Survived by his mother, Lottie A. Matile (nee Pantol); sisters, Joyce (Edwin) Holden, Judy (Dave) Harrison; niece, Melissa (Adam) Singer; and nephew, Todd Holden; great-niece, Mackenzie Singer; great-nephews, Bryce and Blake Holden; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his father, Edwin M. Sokolowski; stepfather, Richard Matile.
Born in Joliet, life long resident. Member Laborers Local #96 Glen Ellyn, IL. According to Ed's wishes cremation rites were accorded.
