Elizabeth A. Bick

Elizabeth A�??LizA�?i�� A. Bick (nee Toth), age 74, of Joliet, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012 at home with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by her loving children, Patricia A. (Ben) Nurczyk, William R. (Peggy) Bick, Jr., Robert J. (Sharon) Bick, and Kathleen (David) Papesh; devoted grandmother of Benjamin, Daniel and Jacob Nurczyk, Alyssa, Zachary and Nicholas Papesh, Robert Jr., Jeremy and Jaime Bick, and Adrienne, Desiree and David; dear sister of Mary (the late Norm) Jansen, Julia (Joe) Haake, Paul (Bonnie) Toth and Irene (the late Walter) Miller; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and special friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, William A�??BillA�?i�� R. Bick, Sr.; parents, Paul and Julia (nee Gujdan) Toth, and her sister Helen (Murrell) Sapp.

Liz attended St. Cyril Grade School and Joliet Township High School, Class of 1956. She worked as a real estate agent for Early Realty and at the Louis Joliet Renaissance Center as a banquet waitress, and also was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the 55 Club. She was a devoted grandmother and spent most of her time with her family and grandchildren and enjoyed her yearly trips with her husband to Fiesta Key, FL.

A Celebration of ElizabethA�??s life will begin on December 29, 2012 at 9:30 am with prayers at the funeral home chapel then moving in procession to St. Mary Nativity Church, Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Jim Lennon officiating. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet. Visitation will be on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life.
