Emma Bechler Age 73. At rest Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Survived by her devoted daughter, Susan Bechler-Bowmer; grandsons, Michael Bakos, Kevin Aloisio; granddaughters, Allison Bowmer, Stephanie Aloisio; brothers and sisters, Dr. Louis (Barbara) Lukancic, John (Anna Mae) Lukancic, James (Patricia) Lukancic, Lillian (Late Clarence) Murphy, Helen (Raymond) Valerugo, Angela (Walter) Zaida, Dr. Mildred (Dr. Kent) Monroe, Mary Ann Lukancic R.N.; brother-in-law, Donald (Marilyn) Bechler; sister-in-law, Jackie Bokan; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Bechler (1992); daughter, Nancy Thacker (February 2006; parents, Louis and Paula Lukancic; parents-in-law, Harry and Lucille Bechler. For over 30 years, Emma was a legal secretary and a legislative aide to Congressman George Sangmeister. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Joliet.
