Flora R. Rose

Flora R. Rose, age 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet.

Flora is survived by her grandchildren, Rebekah (Joshua) Beavers, Issac (Victoria) Bannworth and Andrew (Sarah) Bannworth; great-granddaughter, Ruthann Beavers; great-grandson, Zach Bannworth; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Ruth Lanham; and daughter, Ruth Alyce Bannworth.

Flora was a legal Secretary and later a transcriber for Free Chapel for many years. She lived a simple life devoted to her family. She had a strong faith in God and was loved by all who knew her.

A celebration of Flora’s life was held privately. She was laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
