Geneva Ferguson Chapman
Age 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2019.
Born March 13, 1940, Geneva was a daughter of Walter Chapman and Eunice Thornton Chapman. She was a Punch Press Operator for 23 years with General Electric. Geneva will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by, her brother, Lemar Chapman; husband, John B. Ferguson; son, Romundo, daughters, Ursula and Arika; granhcildren, Christopher, Demila, Darrius, Kisean, and Darrion; three great-grand children, and a host of nieces and nephews
Geneva is preceded in death by her father, Walter Chapman; mother, Eunice Thornton Chapman; sisters Mamie Ellis and Frankie Mae; and brothers; Walter Jr, Marvie, John, and Jack.
Family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Friday November 1, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service, 11:00 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet. Internment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
