Age 86 At rest on Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Survived by one sister Marge Hausfeld; two brothers Joseph (late Ruth) and Charles (Judy) Mistakovich; and fond niece Helen Castleberry and her family as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Peter and Pauline (nee Kremka) Mistakovich; three brothers Steve, John and Mike Mistakovich; three sisters Anna Malnar, Mary Garet and Helen Mistakovich. George was born in Joliet and a life-long resident. He retired from the United States Post Office after many years of service. George was a veteran of World War II Army Air Corp. George was a very kind and caring individual.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church 14610 Will Cook Road, Homer Glen, IL 60491. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of services at Annuciation Byzantine Catholic Church.
