Age 55. At rest Saturday, August 9, 2008, at St. James Hospital in Pontiac, IL.
Survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Janice P. Hirsch (nee Paver); son, Richard B. (Stacey) Hirsch; grandfather of Brittany and Garrett; sister, Nancy Savage, and Barbara Angelos; sisters and brothers-in-law. Linda and Ken Grisham, Larry and Loretta Paver; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by mother, Shirley Hirsch; and brother-in-law, Andrew Angelos.
Born in Lincolnwood, IL, Retired from the Illinois Department of Corrections as a Supply 3 Supervisor. Veteran of the US Navy. Lifetime member of the Illinois Police Association. He loved his grand children and his dog's.
