Gloria G. Salazar

Gloria Guadalupe Salazar, age 62, entered eternal life after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, August 16, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Gloria is survived by her beloved husband, Jose Roberto Salazar; loving children, Reyna (Edward) Hensley, Diana, Javier (Veronica), and Jaime (Liz) Salazar; loving mother, Sanjuana Salazar (nee Leal); cherished grandchildren, Tiara, Ricky, Isabella, Angelyse, and Eddie; dear sisters, Oralia (David), Mague (Chayo), and Rosa (Pancho); dear brother, Gerardo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by her loving father, Octavio Salazar.

Gloria was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was beloved by many and will be forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Gloria's life will begin on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 205 E. Jackson St, Joliet, at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends to meet promptly at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interement to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435.
