Henry Gonzalez

Henry Gonzalez, age 83, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 with his loving family by his side.

Henry was an avid bowler and had a devoted passion for the sport. He was a lifelong member of the Romeoville H.P.S.A.C. Henry served in the United States Air Force and was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Romeoville. He resided in Romeoville for 50 years and was always active in the community. Henry was a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle and will be truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Shirlene (nee Maldonado); his parents John and Frances (nee Villafranco) Gonzalez; his two brothers John and Robert Gonzalez.

Henry is survived by his children Debbie (Michael) Vollmer, Michael Gonzalez and Victoria (Tony) Lewis; his grandchildren Mathieu (Danielle) Vollmer, Cecelia Vollmer, Kyle Lewis, Jason and Adam Gonzalez; great-grandson Mason Vollmer; two brothers Frederick (Cathy) and Manual Gonzalez; two sisters Aurora A�??LoriA�?i�� (Eugene) Rossini and Louise (Arthur) Ruiz; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A Celebration of HenryA�??s life will begin on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 with a Memorial Visitation at Tezak Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a Service in the funeral home chapel beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
