Hershel Ray Dobbs Jr., age 68, of Plainfield, formerly of Oak Park, IL, retired from Northern Trust Company, passed away on May 15, 2007, beloved husband of Barbara Dobbs; loving father of Mark (Caryn E.) Dobbs of Olathe, KS and Karen M. (Brian) Youngdahl of Downers Grove; grandfather of Megan Nicole, Rachel Marie and Tyler James Youngdahl; dearest brother of Doris Richardson and Wanda Martin; dear son of Ruby Dobbs and the late Hershel Ray Dobbs Sr.; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Chapel Service will be held at the Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd., Joliet, IL on Friday, May 18 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be today Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
