Age 81. Passed away peacefully on Friday September 21st, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, World War II veteran, Employed at U.S. Steel for over 40 years. Lifetime Cubs and Bears Fan.
Survived by his children, Howard and Lupe Ramirez, Lisa (Steve) Johnston, Judy McSherry, Jerry Janes, Janice (Joe) Vaughan and Rudy Janes. Sisters, Marie (Felix) Mureno, Angie (Mike) Garcia, Lupe (Mark) Lisa, Mary Ramirez; brothers, John (Adeline), Joe (Vera) and Raymond Ramirez. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his wife, Vivian; son, Leonard; parents, Guadalupe and Leberta Ramirez; brothers, Paul, Richard, Roman, and Jessie Ramirez
From where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 am to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:am. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery Visitation Tuesday 2:pm to 9:pm.
