Irene Shear
December 8, 1912 — April 24, 2013
Irene Shear, 100, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Rosewood Care Center. Irene was a dairy farmer, animal lover, devoted Humane Society activist and poet. She loved canning and baking.
Irene is preceded in death by parents, Mrs. Winnie Weeks and Mr. Harrison; step-father, Mr. Benjamin Weeks; late husband, Marshall Shear; late brothers, Grover Harrison and Clarence Harrison; late children, Billy and James (Carolyn); grandson, Fredric.
Surviving children, Marshall Jr. (Mary), Betty (Dale) VanWinsen, Charles (Mary); grandchildren, Michael, Robert, John, Susan, Larry, Gary, Brian (Terry), Deborah (Walter) Kosinski, William, Sandra (Randall) Bucciarelli, Cindy (Lee) Beckwith, Lisa (Keenan) Wright, Ricky, Amy, Daniel, Peter,
Julie (Daniel) Decker; many loving great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
