At rest on Monday, May 5, 2008. Survived by his brother Joseph (Barbara) Govednik; two sisters Jean Govednik and Dorothy (John) Mahan; sister-in-law Diane Govednik; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends the Mahalick Family. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Johanna (nee Kosmerl) Govednik; brother William-2007 (Diane) Govednik. Graduated from St. Joseph School and Joliet Catholic High School. Served in the U.S. Army. James previously worked for EJ & E Railroad.
Private Funeral Services were held.
