James J. Mlakar ""Jimmy"" Age 84. At rest Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Donna M. (nee Anson) Mlakar; his loving son, Jim (Diana) Mlakar; five loving grandchildren; two sisters, Marge (Alvin) Attaway and Bernadine (George) Price. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Anna Marie Disera; and two brothers. James was born in PA and has resided in Joliet for most of his life. He served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre as a ""Fighting Sea-Bee"". He retired from U.S. Steel after 30 years of service. James enjoyment in life was fishing, bowling and watching baseball. In lieu of flowers donations to the Mercy Home in his name would be appreciated.
