Joann S. (Kovacik) Reiter

Joann S. (nee Kovacik) Reiter, 89 years old of Crest Hill, IL, died January 31, 2022.

Born June 24, 1932 in Joliet, IL to the late Julia Vrabec Kovacik and Joseph Kovacik.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Reiter Driscoll; parents; siblings, Stephen Andrew (Bingo/PeeWee), Julia Kovacik Snider, Mary Kovacik Weller and Robert Kovacik.

Joann was a graduate of Joliet Township High School, Class of 1950. She was employed by Caterpillar, Lockport Bank and was secretary to the principal at JTHS until retirement. Joann was quite active as a volunteer with Crisis Line and many animal rescue organizations.  She had a deep love for all creatures great and small.

Survived by Peggy (Paul) Reiter McCallister, David Reiter, Richard Reiter, Suzanne (Jim) Reiter Peckham and Jeanie Reiter; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
