Joanne Lynn Tucci, age 73, of Channahon, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2025, surrounded by family.

Joanne dedicated many years of service to the Channahon Park District, where she worked as the Business Office Manager until her retirement. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail left a lasting impression on her colleagues and community.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Carl P. Schonwise and Virginia M. Schonwise (née Carroll), as well as her sister, Carol J. Wilkosz (née Schonwise).

Joanne is survived by her devoted husband, John V. Tucci; her loving children, Scott (Diana) Pavey, Kurt (Erika) Pavey, and Jill (Todd) Hillmer; and her cherished grandchildren: Tyler, Allysa, Seth and Grant Pavey, Audrey and Charlie Hillmer. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she found immense pride and happiness in watching her grandchildren grow.

Joanne will be remembered for her kindness, her strong spirit, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and dedication.

A celebration of Joanne's life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Joanne’s memory.
