John P. Myers

John P. Myers, age 84, of Elwood, formerly of Chicago, at rest suddenly on August 14, 2011. Survived by his wife of 15 years, Joann Gelin nee Kletzke, her son Larry (Becky) Gelin, grandchildren Kylie, and Lindsey Gelin, his siblings Dan Myers, Eunice (Cecil) Jones, Paul Myers, and Dorcas De. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Jeanne and William Myers, and his siblings Steve Myers and Ruth Kary. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association. A Celebration of John"s life will begin at 7:00 pm on August 18, 2011 at the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be from 3 pm until the time of service.
