Age 44, set free on Friday, June 11, 2010.
John is survived by his wife, Maria L., son, John T. Stechkober, daughter, Carolann J. Gallacher, daughter, Nicole K. Newman, son, Adam M. Newman, and daughter, Abigail L. Newman, his mother, Patricia Stechkober, sister, Vickie L. Wilson, and his brother Keith Stechkober.
Preceded in death by his father, John J. Stechkober, brother, Dean A. Glaum ""Elwood"", and his nephews Jeffery L. Manning, and Jeremy Glaum.
John had a very big heart and cared about others deeply. He was kind, gentle, caring, giving, and loved by all. He truly lived his life to the fullest. John"s loyalty was only exceeded by his enormous heart. He was a special man and truly one-of-kind. To have known his love was a gift.
Visitation will be Friday from 5- 9 PM. A Celebration of John"s life will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 10:00 AM, then in procession to Mt. Olivet Cemetery for interment.
