Joyce M. Wilson

Joyce M Wilson, 83, passed away on  Saturday, May 27, 2026 at Lightways Hospice following an illness. During which time her daughter was devoted to providing comfort throughout her illness and final passing. 

Joyce was a graduate of Providence Catholic High School. She was a homemaker and later worked for Septran. After her retirement she loved tending to her plants and flowers, reading, baking cookies, and enjoyed the challenge of word puzzles. 

She was proceeded in death by her husband Harry Wilson, and parents John Habinc and Mary Habinc nee Simonich. 

Joyce is survived by daughter Barbara Wilson, son Steve (Natalie) Marvick, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and a niece. 

In keeping with Joyce's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and she will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery near her parents. Graveside services  will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 10:00 am at 1500 N Raynor Ave in Joliet near the Clement St entrance. In lieu of flowers  memorial donations in Joyce's name may be made to Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care in Joliet.
