On January 26th, Kathleen (Seeley) Raspolich’s Irish eyes started smiling in Heaven. She departed very peacefully in her sleep. Kathleen now watches over her husband, Ronald; her children Paul (Janine) Raspolich: Michelle (Tom) Seneker; and Marie (Mark) Carlson; grandchildren whom she adored: Drew, Ethan, and Emma Raspolich; Kendra and Corryn Russ; and Grace and Audrey Carlson; her sister in law Mary Lou Seeley; her brother and sister in law Bill and Sharon Porter; many cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
She was reunited with her family in Heaven and will be lovingly embraced by her parents Bernard M. and Frances (Cuiffini) Seeley; her brother whom she admired, adored and depended on, Bernard F. Seeley; her father and mother in law, John and Sophie Raspolich; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
To her grandchildren, before any of you were even born, she loved you with her whole heart. She looked forward to becoming a grandma more than anything. When you all arrived, you each filled her with joy in your own special ways. If there is anything earthly she will miss, it will be all of you.
Her sons and daughter in law were like her own children. She bragged about how lucky she was to have each of you.
To her sisters-in-laws and brother-in-law, the stories you have told us!! You’ve been there for her all of her life, grew up with her, got in trouble with her, and stuck with her through thick and thin. Who could ask for more! She adored you.
To her many nieces and nephews, in her eyes we were all one big happy family and she was grateful that we all grew up together.
To her many, many cousins, some of you she babysat, some of you showed her the ropes in life, some she played horseshoes with, and all of you she loved. Again, the stories we share are remarkable!
To her friends, she thoroughly enjoyed her time with you, whether it was going out with her breakfast buddies or playing cards. You made her retirement years joyful.
A huge thank you to her longtime neighbors, Jack and Ginger Raley for providing her years of friendship and a watchful eye in her later years.
Amongst many other life lessons, our mom taught us to be strong, independent, and to persevere. Because she was a fine example, we are able to say our final goodbyes with a smile, a good story and joyful laughter.
