Kathy A. Yirsa, age 58, of Joliet, IL. Passed away suddenly at her home on September 24, 2012. Kathy was born on September 22, 1954 and was a life-long resident of Joliet. She was a Joliet Township Central High School graduate of 1971. Kathy was employed by Illinois Bell- AT&T as a service representative for many years. Kathy was known for her cooking, pastries, catering and having A�??the best Potica in JolietA�?i��.
Survived by her loving mother Betty (nee Kranz) Kokalj; brothers Ron (Michele), Ken (Linda), Len (Michelle) Kokalj; sisters Maryanne (Gordon) Holmes; as well as numerous nieces and nephews (who all will miss her delicious fudge and cookies) also survive.
Preceded in death by her father Leroy Kokalj (2001).
Kathy had a warm heart and a gentle smile, she will be missed by all, especially her family. In recognition of her love and dedication, she was a devoted daughter whom looked after her mother for years and A�??Took care of BettyA�?i��. Anytime Kathy was out and about her side kick Betty was with her!
