Leanne M. (Ficarella) Schmidt
January 26, 1968 — January 24, 2017
Leanne M. Schmidt (nee Ficarella), age 48, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 24, 2017.
Survived by her loving siblings, Marialena (Tony Mauro) Ficarella, Jannine (Dean) Johnson, Nicola (Paula) Ficarella, and Virginia (Gene) Hoffman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Richard; father, Leo (Marie) Ficarella; mother, Jane Ficarella (nee Brooke).
Leanne was a clerk at “Mickey’s” (currently BP Amoco) Gas Station on Rt. 30 Plainfield Rd for over 20 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Leanne’s life will begin on Saturday, February 4, 2017 with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a chapel service at 5:30 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435. Per Leanne’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
