Leonard R. Vranicar, age 80, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018.
Leonard is survived by his loving children, William (Mary) Vranicar, David (Dee) Vranicar and Joseph (Kim) Vranicar; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Mel; one sister, Barbara; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Margot Vranicar (2001); parents, John and Agnes Vranicar; sister, Jenny.
Leonard was a retired machinist working most of his career with International Harvester. He enjoyed his retirement in Arizona. Leonard was a proud United States Navy veteran.
A celebration of Leonard’s life will begin on Saturday, January 20, 2018 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood at a later date.
