Leroy "Babe" Mihelich

Leroy “Babe” Mihelich, 91, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023.

Leroy served in the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Tile Layers 67 working as a ceramic tile layer for over 50 years as well as a member of the KSKJ, Rivals Club, American Legion Post 1080 and VFW Cantigny Post.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen (nee Mallaney) Mihelich; parents: Anton and Anna (nee Petrovic) Mihelich; brothers: Tony (Mary) and Richard Mihelich. Also preceding him in death is his son in law, Tony Taranto.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Mike Mihelich, Karen (Ken) Henrickson, Sally (Rick) Sterioti, Tracy Taranto and his grandchildren: Anna (Tom) Doherty, Erin Mihelich, Nolan Henrickson, Casey Henrickson, Alyssa Sterioti, Andrew Sterioti, Ava Taranto and Giada Taranto. He will be greatly missed.

A private service was held and cremation was in accordance with his wishes. Burial will follow at a later date and will be updated at a later time on the Tezak Funeral Home website.
